What an amazing boy!

HE IS 10 WEEKS TODAY!!!

Well last night when we were walking in the nurse (Rachel/one of our primary nurses) was sitting in the chair looking like she was waiting for us. She had this big smile on her face and was like she wanted to show us something. Apparently Mr. Ethan was fussing and moving so much around lunch time yesterday they decide to take him off the C-PAP because he kept on pulling it off.
So they still have him on oxgyen through his nose but he loves breathing on his own. When we got to his incubator we raised it up and he had his first outfit on and he was just looking around at everything. He was so cute. Me and Mom were talking to each other on opposite sides and he looked across to both of us. He has started to cry so that is very exciting. I don't care what anyone else says but we have the cutest boy ever in the world!!!!!
The nurse said that we can start holding him everyday and we can switch off, if I hold him for 30 minutes then I can switch him off to Kele and she can hold him. We couldn't do that earlier, only one person for an hour or so. But last night I think he got to excited and his numbers were jumping so we had to put him back, which was fine.
He has reached 3 pounds and he is now 3 lbs and 1 oz as of last night. So now the next big step for him is to keep up the weight and his feeds. So they said possible that by next week or two they will try to work on the bottle. Very exciting!!!
