Ethan over 17 weeks and ready to come home

Well we thought this day wound never come. Earlier this week the nurses told us that he will be coming home on the 28Th of July. Also that we need to nest Friday and Saturday night. So we had our first experience on nesting last night. Boy are we tired already and it's only one day. He only woke up twice in the night. Well we feed him around 12:30 but we were both awake still. Then my wonderful beautiful wife got up around 3:30 AM to feed him again. So it will be my turn tonight. So I was fast a sleep still. Then today I helped my in laws move, and so Kele was a single parent for the most part of the day. One of us has to be with him during the nesting stage. He will be coming home on oxygen and a monitor for sure. We had a little prep class on how to work it.
He past his final and last due date. This past thursday the 24th was the hospitals due date and his 17th week. Crazy huh! We have been coming here for the past 4 months and it has seem like a long time but a quick 4 months too.
So we are really excited he finally gets to come home. I think he is ready but we are going to really miss the nurses and doctors here at the hospital. We have grow close to some of the nurses here but we will keep them updated on Little Ethan. He is 6 lbs 7.9 oz right now. He is taking all his feeds in each care. So he is progressing very much.
